Bio: Joe Hoff has been the Chairman and CEO of Automated Systems of Tacoma, LLC (AST) since 2010. Under his leadership, AST has transformed into a leading, highly innovative, cGMP aseptic fill/finish equipment and services company for the Pharmaceutical Industry.

AST developed the industry’s first RTU, Multi-Format, Fill/Finish Line – a system that remains in use today. AST’s current product lines include the ASEPTiCell™, GENiSYS® R, GENiSYS C and GENiSYS Lab platforms.

Prior to acquiring AST, Joe held a variety of senior technical and operational roles in technically advanced and automated equipment design and build companies serving highly regulated industries.

Joe’s responsibilities have taken him to over 20 countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Joe holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a non-active Professional Engineer.
