Automated Systems of Tacoma launches YouTube channel
Automated Systems of Tacoma, a 40+ year old company providing custom manufacturing equipment to the diaper, web converting, life science, aerospace and general manufacturing industries has launched a YouTube channel to share select videos of our equipment and recent projects. The channel can be accessed by clicking the icon at the right or entering http://www.youtube.com/automatedsystems in your favorite web browser. We are hopeful that these videos will allow customers to better see how AST’s superior innovation and quality could benefit their businesses. Automated Systems of Tacoma, a 40+ year old company providing custom manufacturing equipment, has signed an agreement to become a Staubli Robotics Elite Partner. Though not exclusive, this agreement provides AST’s engineers with factory training and full access to the products and technical resources of one of the robotics industry’s leading companies. In addition, we are better able to provide competitive pricing on Staubli robotics hardware, software, training and parts. Automated Systems of Tacoma awarded contract to design and build a Robotic Filling System (RFS) for aseptic fill and finishing of clinical drug products
Automated Systems of Tacoma, Inc. (AST), Life Sciences Group, has been awarded a contract to design and manufacture a flexible robotic cGMP filling system for aseptic filling of pre-clinical, Phase I & II clinical drug products. The Robotic Filling System (RFS) provides the flexibility of processing multiple product presentations such as: trayed vials and cartridges, BD Hypak SCF syringes, and IV bags within a single compact platform. The system leverages the latest technologies in robotics, vision, automation, isolator-barrier systems, and disposable materials, making it the most flexible aseptic filling system currently available.
