With a wide breadth of industry knowledge, our engineers are able to develop innovative solutions that save our customers money, reduce lead times and improve quality. Our core team includes 5 licensed professional engineers, degreed engineers and designers in the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering disciplines. In addition to our full time staff, we maintain long term relationships with experienced contract engineers, designers and drafters to ensure we have additional capacity when needed to support project schedules. Our engineers utilize the latest engineering software including: 2D & 3D CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Heat Transfer Analysis, Kinematics, and Simulations. Whatever your project requires, we have the team, tools and engineering capacity to deliver.

With over 40 years experience in custom machinery, AST knows how to mitigate the technical, budget and schedule risks inherent in complex design and build projects. We assign a project manager to every project who serves as the customer’s focal point from acceptance of purchase order to final payment. We have built our organization around empowered project management. We have the tools, processes and supervision in place to ensure our project commitments are consistently met. Our core team of high level project managers average over 20 years experience and have managed projects in excess of five million dollars. This expertise ensures that project risks are mitigated as fully as possible allowing our customers to focus on running their businesses.
